Job Summary
A company is looking for a Temporary Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster III.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned inventory of claim files, including performing a three-point contact on new losses
- Document ongoing case facts and establish a plan of action for resolving claims
- Collaborate with medical case managers and initiate referrals for suspected fraud cases
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- At least seven years of related experience or training, including five years managing indemnity cases
- High degree of claims handling expertise with complex cases
- Possession of an SIP certificate
- Working knowledge of California Labor Code related to workers compensation claims
