Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster III.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned inventory of claim files, including performing a three-point contact on new losses
  • Document ongoing case facts and establish a plan of action for resolving claims
  • Collaborate with medical case managers and initiate referrals for suspected fraud cases
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • At least seven years of related experience or training, including five years managing indemnity cases
  • High degree of claims handling expertise with complex cases
  • Possession of an SIP certificate
  • Working knowledge of California Labor Code related to workers compensation claims
