California Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Adjuster II (Workers' Compensation).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of California WC claims with moderate to complex medical and indemnity exposure
• Establish accurate reserves, evaluate compensability, and develop action plans from initial contact through closure
• Coordinate medical treatment, work with defense counsel, and proactively resolve claims within authority

Required Qualifications

• California WC claims experience at any level considered
• Ability to work Pacific hours, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PDT
• Strong knowledge of California WC law, statutes, and claim procedures
• Self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing a full caseload remotely
• CA adjuster license or ability to obtain within the state-mandated timeframe
