Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster, the full-time temporary position will adjudicate complex indemnity claims remotely for clients in California, with responsibilities including thorough investigations, reporting on claims trends, and managing litigation processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Adjudicate higher complexity workers' compensation claims with significant departmental impact
- Investigate claims thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties and analyzing policy coverage
- Report on claims trends and developments to senior management and negotiate settlements
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in California
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
- CA SIP designation or both WCCA & WCCP designations required
- Strong claim negotiation skills and business acumen
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and other business-related software
