Job Summary
Managing complex claims, the full-time California Licensed Workers Compensation Adjuster will investigate and settle advanced claims, determine liability and compensability, and assist in litigation preparation while working independently.
Key responsibilities
- Interprets policy coverages and makes decisions on complex claims
- Manages investigative activities and directs litigation strategy with legal counsel
- Establishes reserves, authorizes payments, and settles claims in a cost-effective manner
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; industry designations preferred
- 4-8 years of technical claims investigation and settlement experience
- Workers Compensation (WC) Adjuster License required
- Ability to work independently on technical subjects
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects
