Job Summary
As a senior technical expert, the full-time California Licensed Workers Compensation Adjuster will manage complex, high-exposure claims, provide technical guidance, and serve as a resource for clients and colleagues in a remote or hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform complex claims investigations and maintain strategic resolution plans for high-exposure cases
- Lead medical management and coordinate vocational rehabilitation for catastrophic claims
- Direct the litigation process on complex files, including managing legal strategy and negotiations for high-value settlements
Required qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of WC claims experience, including 5 years of independent indemnity management or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of WC indemnity experience
- Active adjuster license in applicable state(s) required; multi-state preferred, with CA SIP certificate for California files
- Deep expertise in California WC statutes and experience with complex litigation management
- Proficiency in claims administration platforms and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior adjusters and manage senior-level client relationships
