Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Workers' Compensation Attorney, this full-time remote position will manage all phases of Workers' Compensation litigation, including case strategy development, discovery, negotiation, and client advocacy.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle all phases of Workers' Compensation litigation from initial evaluation through resolution
- Partner with claims professionals to develop case strategy and conduct discovery
- Mentor junior attorneys and serve as a technical resource on complex matters
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctor and 5 or more years of litigation experience
- Member in good standing of the California State Bar
- Experience with Microsoft Office and legal research platforms such as Lexis or Westlaw
- Knowledge of insurance defense litigation and legal procedure
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
