Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Defense Attorney.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive legal research, and develop defense strategies
  • Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, and trial briefs autonomously
  • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel while facilitating case dispositions
Required Qualifications
  • JD from an accredited law school and a license to practice in California
  • Minimum of 2 years (Staff Attorney) or 5 years (Senior Staff Attorney) of legal practice experience in Workers' Compensation cases
  • Trial experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
  • Self-directed with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
