Key Responsibilities

• Advocate for insurance carriers, third party administrators, and self-insured employers
• Draft pleadings, attend court appearances, and conduct depositions
• Negotiate settlements and manage client relationships while mentoring legal assistants

Required Qualifications

• Active CA licensure
• 2-10+ years of workers compensation experience
• Knowledge of current workers' compensation case law and statutes
• Ability to conduct training seminars on changing case law
• Experience managing a calendar and meeting deadlines
