Job Summary
To support a growing California Workers' Compensation defense firm, the full-time Workers Compensation Defense Attorney will handle all aspects of workers' compensation cases from discovery through settlement or trial, providing claim handling recommendations and legal defenses in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Handling all aspects of a Workers' Compensation case from inception to resolution, focusing on early resolution and creative solutions
- Reviewing new claim materials and providing claim handling recommendations, action plans, case exposure assessments, and legal defenses
- Quickly analyzing new information and applying knowledge of Workers' Compensation law while collaborating with paralegals and legal assistants
Required qualifications:
- California Bar License
