Job Summary
Licensed in California, the full-time Lead Workers Compensation Defense Attorney will independently manage and try workers' compensation cases, providing mentorship to junior attorneys while working in a flexible environment that allows for in-office, hybrid, or fully remote arrangements.
Key responsibilities
- Handles a caseload of California workers' compensation cases, including high exposure losses
- Provides direction and mentoring to developing attorneys
- Assists the Managing Attorney in case assignments, strategy development, and staff evaluations as needed
Required qualifications
- California State Bar license
- Experience in workers' compensation defense
- Proven ability to manage complex cases independently
- Strong mentoring and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative legal team environment
