Managing a caseload of workers' compensation claims, the full-time California Licensed Workers Compensation Attorney will provide expert legal advice, advocate for clients in workplace injury cases, and conduct thorough legal research in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution, including hearings and settlement negotiations
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements with precision
• Advocate for clients during hearings and mediations, presenting compelling arguments supported by evidence

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction with active bar membership
• Proven experience in workers' compensation law and related legal areas
• Excellent writing skills with strong legal drafting abilities
• Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
