Job Summary
Representing clients in workers' compensation claims, the full-time California Licensed Workers Compensation Attorney will manage litigation matters, conduct hearings and depositions, and develop legal strategies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement litigation strategies for assigned cases
- Conduct discovery, hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Required qualifications
- Active California Bar License
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from an accredited law school
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an attorney focused on Workers' Compensation law
- Strong knowledge of insurance law and legal research
- Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain effective client relationships
