Job Summary
To support a growing legal practice, the full-time Senior Workers' Compensation Attorney will manage a designated workload of complex Workers' Compensation cases remotely, conducting legal research, preparing pleadings, and presenting defense strategies on behalf of clients.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze complex legal issues and conduct extensive legal research
- Independently create and present defense strategies and prepare complex legal documents
- Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel regarding legal matters
Required qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school and a license to practice in California
- Minimum of 5 years of experience handling complex/life pension Workers' Compensation cases
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage case workloads effectively
