California Licensed Workers' Compensation Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing legal practice, the full-time Senior Workers' Compensation Attorney will manage a designated workload of complex Workers' Compensation cases remotely, conducting legal research, preparing pleadings, and presenting defense strategies on behalf of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex legal issues and conduct extensive legal research
• Independently create and present defense strategies and prepare complex legal documents
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel regarding legal matters

Required qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and a license to practice in California
• Minimum of 5 years of experience handling complex/life pension Workers' Compensation cases
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage case workloads effectively
