Job Summary
To support a large insurance company, a California Licensed Workers Compensation Attorney will work remotely on a contract basis for 6 months, focusing on developing legal strategies, conducting hearings and trials, and advising clients.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and revise legal strategies for discovery, investigation, and trial/hearing of cases
- Conduct necessary legal proceedings, including depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
- Advise and communicate with Claims Representatives and Insured Clients, providing clear legal opinions
Required qualifications
- Completion of law school with LLB or JD and admission to the California bar
- A minimum of 1 year of successful experience as an attorney
- General knowledge of insurance law and understanding of insured clients' operations
- Ability to effectively communicate and persuade in both written and spoken forms
- Experience relevant to the level of cases handled
