Job Summary

To support a collaborative legal team, the full-time California Licensed Workers' Compensation Attorney will manage defense cases, develop strategic case defenses, and deliver exceptional client service in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage workers' compensation defense cases from initial claim through resolution
  • Represent employers and insurance carriers at hearings, depositions, and other litigation proceedings
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents
Required qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active California Bar license in good standing
  • 3+ years of workers' compensation defense experience or related legal experience
  • Strong legal research, analytical, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple cases and prioritize competing deadlines
