Job Summary
To support a dynamic legal team, the full-time California Licensed Workers Compensation Paralegal will conduct legal research, prepare documents, manage case files, and assist attorneys with trial preparation in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and precedents
- Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, settlements, briefs, motions, and correspondence
- Organize and maintain case files, deadlines, and assist with trial preparations
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience in a law firm or legal department
- Strong legal research, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools
- Familiarity with case management software preferred
