Job Summary

As the financial lead for large, complex client assignments, the full-time Healthcare Financial/Actuarial Senior Director will leverage expertise in benefits financial and actuarial strategies to provide strategic recommendations, drive revenue growth, and lead client engagements while working in Irvine or Los Angeles, California.

Key responsibilities

• Communicates complex financial and actuarial concepts to drive client action and improve plan performance
• Leads financial and actuarial engagements for medium to large clients, developing tailored strategies
• Guides regional and global teams on deliverables, ensuring high-quality client service and collaboration

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in health and welfare financial/actuarial strategies within a consulting or brokerage environment
• Proven ability to generate revenue and manage client relationships
• Deep understanding of employee benefit plan design, underwriting, and funding concepts
• State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining
• Actuarial designation and current continuing education (optional)
