Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Litigation Legal Secretary for a fully remote, part-time, contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, assemble, and file pleadings and other legal documents in California State Courts with minimal supervision
  • Support attorneys with state filings, document organization, and case management tasks
  • Maintain deadlines and manage filings to ensure compliance with California civil procedure requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience supporting litigation in California State Courts
  • Strong familiarity with California civil procedure and court filing protocols
  • Ability to process and file pleadings with little oversight
  • Proven reliability working in remote/virtual legal environments
  • High level of discretion due to sensitive case matter
