California Medical Access Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Access Assistant Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and manage incoming calls, emails, and faxes from the Medical Access Assistant line
• Locate and verify providers within the medical provider network and schedule appointments for injured workers
• Assist callers in navigating the website directory and triage requests to ensure timely completion

Required Qualifications

• Medical background and/or workers' compensation experience
• Call center experience is a plus but not required
• Computer proficiency with MS Office and other relevant programs
• Ability to multitask and utilize multiple resources effectively
• Experience in customer service and maintaining composure in stressful situations
