Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel to lead its Legal function.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel on strategic legal advice across various functions including corporate governance, commercial contracts, and data privacy
• Build and scale the internal legal function to support organizational growth
• Manage, draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and provide ongoing legal counsel

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of legal practice with both law firm and in-house experience
• J.D. from an accredited institution and admitted to practice in California or New York
• Experience at a national law firm and in the technology industry
• Proven experience in building and leading teams in high-growth environments
• Valid membership in a state bar
