Job Summary
To support impactful legal initiatives, a California or Oregon Licensed Staff Attorney will engage in high-stakes litigation and advocacy, collaborating with clients and coalitions while working in a hybrid environment from either San Francisco or Portland.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support litigation tasks, including factual investigation, legal research, and oral arguments
- Represent clients in state and federal rulemaking and agency engagement
- Engage in public speaking, outreach, and maintain partnerships with clients and coalition partners
Required qualifications
- Law school graduate with at least 4 years of litigation experience, including clerkships or fellowships
- Admission to the California or Oregon bar or willingness to obtain licensure within one year
- Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills
- Experience in oral argument and public speaking
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
