Job Summary
To support the Behavioral Health team, a full-time California or Texas Licensed Nurse Practitioner will provide medical management for patients, collaborating with psychiatrists and staff while working remotely on a salaried basis, with a mix of day and night shifts including weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct acute assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for patients in emergency and inpatient settings
- Place direct admit orders for patients requiring inpatient behavioral health support
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement Crisis Response Plans and ensure quality patient care
Required qualifications
- Active PMHNP license in California or Texas
- Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
- Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing required
- Federal and State DEA certification required within 9 months of hire
- Completion of state-specific certification/education within initial and renewal time periods
