California Organizer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time California Organizer for Los Angeles and Orange County, this hybrid role will manage grassroots support for electoral campaigns by recruiting and training members and volunteers, developing campaign strategies, and engaging in community organizing efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and build the membership base through in-person events, digital organizing, and outreach programs
• Lead training sessions for volunteers to canvass and phone bank for endorsed candidates
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve party-building and organizing goals in the assigned region

Required qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in electoral or neighborhood-based organizing
• Strong commitment to social, economic, and racial justice
• Proven ability to engage potential activists and supporters effectively
• Experience in grassroots non-profit, labor, or political organizing is a plus
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus
