California Organizer

Job Summary

To build grassroots support for electoral campaigns, the full-time California Organizer will recruit and train members and volunteer leaders, develop campaign strategies, and lead outreach efforts in the Bay Area while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and build the membership base through events, digital organizing, and outreach initiatives
• Lead in-person canvasses and virtual phone banking events for endorsed candidates
• Develop knowledge of the political and community landscape to effectively support electoral priorities

Required qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in electoral or neighborhood-based organizing
• A strong commitment to social, economic, and racial justice
• Proven ability to engage potential activists and supporters effectively
• Experience in grassroots non-profit, labor, or political organizing is a plus
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus
