California Organizer

Job Summary

To build grassroots support for electoral campaigns, the full-time California Organizer will recruit and train members and volunteer leaders, develop campaign strategies, and lead outreach efforts in a hybrid work environment across designated regions in California.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the membership base through events, digital organizing, and outreach programs
• Lead in-person and virtual programs to engage new members and build activist support
• Coordinate canvassing and phone banking events for endorsed candidates in assigned regions

Required qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in electoral or community-based organizing
• Strong commitment to social, economic, and racial justice
• Proven ability to engage and mobilize potential activists and supporters
• Experience in grassroots non-profit, labor, or political organizing is preferred
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus
