California Organizer

Job Summary

To build grassroots support for electoral campaigns, the full-time California Organizer in the Inland Empire will recruit and support members and volunteer leaders, develop strategies for elections, and train volunteers for canvassing and phone banking in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and build membership through in-person events, digital organizing, and outreach programs
• Lead programs to welcome new members and develop activist support for electoral priorities
• Conduct canvassing and phone banking events for endorsed candidates in the assigned region

Required qualifications

• Minimum two years of electoral or neighborhood-based organizing experience
• Passion for social, economic, and racial justice
• Proven ability to engage potential activists and supporters effectively
• Experience in grassroots non-profit, labor, or political organizing is a plus
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus
