California Outreach Specialist

Job Summary

To support the mission of enhancing California Community Colleges, the full-time remote California Outreach Specialist will elevate student voices, expand partnerships, and advance equity-centered programming across diverse community college populations.

Key responsibilities

• Brings an authentic student perspective to elevate awareness of programs and services
• Identifies and cultivates key stakeholders to strengthen student engagement and visibility
• Collaborates across teams to analyze engagement trends and provide student-informed recommendations

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in student engagement, outreach, or related fields
• Direct experience as a student within the California Community College system preferred
• Highly motivated self-starter with a bias for action and innovative project execution
• Ability to independently manage projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver quality results on time
