California Patient Access Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist to coordinate patient referrals and intake documentation for Specialty Infusion Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Engages with patients and referral sources to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery
• Creates and communicates all required documentation for new referrals
• Secures upfront payment from patients and assists in identifying financial assistance programs

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Minimum of two years of related experience is required
• Ability to multi-task and manage numerous referrals/priorities simultaneously
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Previous healthcare or medical billing experience is preferred
