California Patient Access Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting patients referred for Specialty Infusion Services, the remote California Patient Access Specialist will coordinate referrals, manage intake documentation, and facilitate communication among various teams to ensure timely access to therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Engages with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery
• Creates, communicates, and obtains all required documentation for new referrals
• Secures upfront payment from patients and assists in identifying financial assistance options

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related experience
• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals and priorities simultaneously
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills
