Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Consultant - California Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute California regular rate of pay calculations, including overtime and supplemental earnings
- Oversee timekeeping data management and ensure accuracy in payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with California wage and hour laws and develop payroll policies to mitigate risk
Required Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of payroll experience, specifically in California wage and hour laws
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification required
- Experience managing payroll with complex commission structures
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls
