Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Consultant - California Compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute California regular rate of pay calculations, including overtime and supplemental earnings
  • Oversee timekeeping data management and ensure accuracy in payroll processing
  • Ensure compliance with California wage and hour laws and develop payroll policies to mitigate risk
Required Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of payroll experience, specifically in California wage and hour laws
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification required
  • Experience managing payroll with complex commission structures
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls
