California Payroll Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processing operations and ensure compliance with legal and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end processing of on-cycle and off-cycle payrolls for approximately 1,000 employees across multiple states
• Serve as the Workday Payroll subject matter expert, ensuring accurate payroll configuration and processing
• Oversee payroll schedules, validation procedures, and audits to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing

Required Qualifications

• CPP Certification required
• 5+ years of relevant payroll experience
• Expert knowledge of US payroll regulations and tax laws
• Experience with Workday and ADP Smart Compliance
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
