California Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

Providing support and guidance to field operations, the full-time California Payroll Specialist will oversee payroll functions for a portfolio of affiliated companies across multiple states, ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance with payroll policies in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the payroll service center by offering support and effective communication to HR and Payroll Representatives
• Oversee payroll functions and maintain relationships with stakeholders across operations and HR
• Assist with payroll inquiries, process adjustments, and ensure compliance with payroll policies and regulations

Required qualifications

• Associates degree or higher preferred
• Minimum of 1+ years' experience in payroll support or processing
• Experience with Workday Payroll and Time Tracking is highly preferred
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a payroll environment
