California Permitting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Permitting Specialist to manage the construction permitting process for residential development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all permit applications, including preparation, tracking, and coordination with jurisdictional agencies
• Perform research to assess permitting requirements and project feasibility for various development projects
• Oversee and track all permitting-related expenses and maintain organized permit documentation

Required Qualifications

• Experience in construction, permitting, and jurisdictional communication preferred
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Proficient in Google Workspace, Smartsheet, Procore, or similar project management tools
• Comfortable working remotely and in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in prefab, modular, or manufactured housing is a plus but not required
