California Process Technician

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time California Process Technician, the successful candidate will provide technical support for electrical and optical testing processes in a clean room environment, focusing on the assembly and manufacture of silicon and III-V wafer products while managing projects to enhance testing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support electrical and optical testing processes for silicon and III-V products, including wafers and chips
• Establish and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment while documenting processes for stability
• Train production staff and collaborate with teams to resolve process issues and implement corrective measures

Required qualifications

• College diploma (DEC) in physical engineering, microelectronics, or equivalent
• Minimum of five years of experience in electronics or photodiode testing
• Knowledge of microelectronic device manufacturing processes is an asset
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology and statistical process control (Green Belt certification) is a plus
• Fluency in French (spoken and written)
