California Procurement Buyer

Job Summary

Managing moderately complex purchase orders, the full-time California Procurement Buyer will negotiate pricing terms, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster vendor relationships while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitates the fulfillment of purchase orders by reviewing requisitions, placing orders, and resolving issues with suppliers
• Negotiates pricing and contract terms with vendors, analyzing quotes to secure favorable conditions
• Monitors vendor performance and compliance, fostering partnerships to improve operational efficiency

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or procurement
• At least one (1) year of experience in a leadership role
• Experience managing vendor contracts and relationships preferred
• Proficiency in negotiation and vendor management
