California Procurement Buyer IV

Job Summary

Ensuring the fulfillment of moderately complex purchase orders, the full-time California Procurement Buyer IV will manage requisitions, negotiate pricing, and monitor vendor performance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitates the fulfillment or recall of requested items by reviewing requisitions and placing purchase orders
• Negotiates pricing terms and conditions with vendors and manages operational vendor performance
• Communicates market insights and compliance with purchasing regulations to internal and external stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or procurement, or six (6) years in a directly related field
• At least one (1) year of experience in a leadership role
• Experience managing vendor contracts and relationships is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and negotiation skills
