California Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting Viasat's Aviation business, the full-time California Procurement Specialist will manage procurement activities including supplier management, purchase order issuance, and strategy implementation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders to meet business needs
• Collaborate with various internal teams to achieve procurement targets in price, delivery, and quality
• Conduct market research and lead the execution of procurement strategies based on internal stakeholder requirements

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in supply chain management within a high-tech environment
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Basic understanding of procurement best practices and tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• US citizenship is required
