California Project Controls Manager

Job Summary

Supporting a major healthcare capital program, the full-time California Project Controls Manager will manage project controls services including cost and schedule management, risk management, and project governance, while working in a hybrid environment that combines remote work with client meetings and site visits as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive project controls services including capital planning, schedule control, and risk management
• Facilitate the funding process by consolidating information into funding request documents and assist in developing client capital plans
• Provide timely and relevant reports to enable effective project governance and monitor project outcomes

Required qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field preferred, or significant experience in construction project controls
• 4+ years of experience in a related field post-undergraduate degree
• Proficiency in project controls tools and software such as P6, MS Project, and Excel
• Strong understanding of construction industry methods and procedures
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders
