California Project Coordinator

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time California Project Coordinator will accumulate, process, and interpret payer information, manage denial processes, and collaborate with leadership and stakeholders in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Accumulate and document payer information to justify hospital admissions and billing levels based on clinical outcomes
• Process concurrent and retrospective denials in collaboration with clinical staff and internal advisors
• Monitor and coordinate utilization management operations while acting as a liaison between leadership and external payers

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and revenue cycle processes
• Ability to interpret data and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Familiarity with electronic health records and computer applications
