California Property Product Director

Job Summary

Managing the Product staff remotely, the full-time California Property Product Director will analyze and develop product recommendations, oversee compliance, and drive new business strategies to ensure a reasonable rate of return for member carriers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the Product function, serving as the primary decision maker for compliance and operational efficiency
• Lead, coach, and train the Product team, including overseeing hiring and performance evaluations
• Conduct research and analysis to provide product and guideline recommendations, collaborating with actuarial staff for state filings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 10+ years of experience in a Product role with California property product required
• 5+ years of experience managing Product personnel
• Strong working knowledge of P&C policy contracts and rate making principles
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively present findings and recommendations
