California Provider Payment Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Provider Payment Strategy Manager to oversee provider reimbursement methodologies and manage staff in the Payment Strategy Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the advancement of provider reimbursement methodologies to align with organizational strategies
• Evaluate the feasibility of reimbursement methodologies using various methods and models
• Provide management oversight and guidance related to the provider reimbursement function and mentor assigned staff

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Health Care, or a related field
• A minimum of eight years of experience in provider reimbursement activities, with at least three years in a managed care environment
• Minimum of three years of management, supervisory, or lead experience
• Knowledge of provider reimbursement methodologies, pricing, and fee schedules
• Experience with managed care concepts, contracting, policies, and procedures
