Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the California RN Telephonic Case Manager will collaborate with healthcare providers and employers to develop and implement treatment plans for injured individuals, ensuring effective healthcare services and facilitating their return to work.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of cases by assessing recovery and collaborating with treating physicians to tailor treatment plans
- Advocate for appropriate modifications to job duties to support early return to work for injured individuals
- Evaluate and adjust case goals based on the injured/disabled person's progress and treatment effectiveness
Required qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, with RN Compact plus CA RN license required
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience, preferably in workers' compensation
- URAC-recognized certification in case management (e.g., CCM, CDMS, CRC)
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook Email
