California Seasonal Field Scout

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Field Scout, Seasonal.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and install pest traps in fields; inspect and monitor weekly
• Maintain data counts of trapped pests and use GPS technology for field mapping
• Scout crops for economic pests and report findings to the Sales Representative

Required Qualifications

• Strong interest in Agriculture, Plant Science, or Horticulture preferred
• Knowledge or experience with agricultural operations preferred
• Intermediate proficiency with standard software including MS Office Suite
• Ability to safely operate a vehicle following state laws and company policies
• Dependable and willing to work overtime during busy seasons
