California Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage complex accounting activities and support financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
• Produce accurate financial statements and assist with internal and external audit requests
• Collaborate with senior leadership to analyze financial results and improve accounting processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with at least two years in a senior-level role
• Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with Jamis
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex reconciliations and payroll integrations
