California Senior Counsel
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced California Senior Counsel, the full-time position will independently manage litigation cases, develop strategies, and cultivate client relationships while working in a collaborative environment as the firm establishes its new office in the Inland Empire.
Key responsibilities
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Develop compelling case themes and manage full case handling responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys while maintaining routine communication with clients
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved school and active California Bar license
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
- Experience with litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation
- Ability to manage all facets of discovery and trial independently
- Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
