California Senior Finance Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to the California market leadership team, supporting business planning and operational reviews
• Lead financial analysis on revenue, expenses, and margin drivers, including variance explanations and ROI assessments
• Oversee revenue capture, reimbursement accuracy, and denial rate monitoring to ensure financial integrity

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred
• 6-10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or Medicaid-based organizations
• Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement and denial management
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a healthcare environment
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with ERP or BI tools is highly desirable
