California Senior Fire Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Fire Project Manager in California.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects as a technical expert in fire behavior, fire ecology, and wildfire management
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality assurance for various wildfire-related projects
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with project teams and clients to meet client needs effectively

Required Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in forestry, fire science, environmental science, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in forestry, wildfire operations, project management, and/or CEQA planning
• Working knowledge of federal and state laws related to forestry and wildfire management
• Experience supervising project teams and managing multiple projects with changing requirements
• Familiarity with California ecosystems and collaboration with state and federal land management agencies
