California Senior HR Consultant

Job Summary

Providing consulting and guidance to CLIENT leaders and employees, the part-time Senior HR Consultant will focus on performance management processes, employee relations, and conducting internal investigations while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with leaders on performance management and develop action plans to address performance gaps
• Conduct internal investigations related to workplace complaints and summarize findings for review
• Collaborate with HR teams to ensure effective resolution of employee issues and compliance with policies

Required qualifications

• B.A. in Business or Social Sciences
• 3 to 6 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a lead or specialist role
• Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution
• Knowledge of California labor law and federal employment regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
