California SIU Investigator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SIU Investigator in the San Diego Metro, CA area.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate questionable claims and apply knowledge of fraud schemes and investigation strategies
• Collect evidence through interviews and searches of various resources, and prepare detailed investigative reports
• Develop relationships with industry contacts and assist in fraud awareness training initiatives

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
• 2 years of claims adjusting or P&C SIU/Fraud Investigation experience, or 4 years of relevant investigative experience
• Proven investigatory skills and experience obtaining statements from various parties
• Familiarity with data analysis using computers and software packages
• Knowledge of city, state, and local regulations related to insurance fraud
