California Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and record month-end accruals, commissions, bonuses, and provider payment entries
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate recording of receivables and resolve billing discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close processes
• Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
